It’s Growing Season!

June 2015

Dear Friend,

This is the season when days are long and time is short — so much must be done. And so my request to you is brief — please take a moment today to support the work of NOFA-NY and help grow a vibrant, organic, and sustainable food and farm system for us all.

Our growth is guided by you. With your feedback and support, in one short year we have expanded our educational SweetPotato_KateFarrar_Daily Life_FOR WEB
programming to include more advanced learning opportunities — with more intensive and advanced workshops and field days offered in the past 12 months than in any year prior. This spring we launched our new online Food and Farm Guide ( to better support the connection between our farmers and people looking for fresh, organic and sustainably grown food. And we continue to raise our voice to advocate for organic food and farm policies that make sense.

At NOFA-NY, like so many of you, we have more to tend and grow to meet the needs of all who count on us. This work takes countless hours, and relies on the generous support of our members and friends. Thanks to many of you, we have already raised $143,000 toward our $200,000 annual goal. In the coming weeks we hope to close that gap by another $10,000. Will you take a moment today to contribute to a vibrant, growing organic and sustainable food system with a gift to NOFA-NY? You can donate online at or by calling (585) 271-1979. We are proud to be your organization for education, support, and advocacy for organic and sustainable food and farming, and are grateful for the trust you place in us. Thank you.
